Area Rug Cleaning in Murrysville

Individual Rug Care by IICRC-Certified Technicians

Individual evaluation guides every area rug cleaning service we provide. At Neshoff’s Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning, we inspect each rug to choose an appropriate care approach and determine whether cleaning should take place on-site or offsite. As an independently and locally owned operation, we serve homes and businesses throughout Murrysville.

We’ve provided carpet cleaning in Murrysville since 1983 and have successfully cleaned more than 30,000 homes and businesses. Every technician is certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), an industry organization that establishes standards for inspection, cleaning, and restoration work. That training informs how we evaluate fibers and care for each rug.

Our Area Rug Cleaning Process

Our process follows a defined sequence from the initial consultation to the final quality check. Because rugs vary in fiber, construction, and condition, we examine each piece rather than assign the same process to every rug. The inspection also helps us decide whether offsite service is the safest option.

Rug Inspection & Consultation

We begin with an inspection and consultation. Our technicians evaluate the rug before choosing the appropriate pre-treatment and extraction approach. This allows us to account for specialty materials and the rug’s overall condition before cleaning begins.

Pre-Treatment, Extraction & Rinsing

Each rug receives a safe, specialized pre-treatment selected for that piece. We then perform deep extraction cleaning, followed by rinsing and fiber conditioning. Each stage builds on the findings from the initial evaluation.

Drying, Grooming & Inspection

Professional drying and grooming follow the cleaning stages. Our powerful suction equipment allows most area rugs to dry within several hours, although heavily soiled and specialty rugs may require additional drying time. We finish with a final quality check.
